cold start and vacuum test
my car is definitely starting funny after i cleared the blockage in the crankcase vent. i started it this morning and it choked but still managed to start, started it again about an hour later and it did the same thing.
i checked the vacuum, and here is the outcome:
while cold, engine vacuum fluctuates quite a bit. i wasnt able to record it so im not exactly how far, but the needle was moving up and down within a quarter of the gauge.
while warm: engine held a good steady vacuum. up 1 and down 1 when one of the a/c or air pump clicks.. not sure which one.
idle is about 900rmp and causes the transmission to clunk when i put it into gear. sometimes i can kick it down to about 600 in park.
any ideas on what i should be checking? ive also checked for vacuum leaks and couldnt find any..... crap
