Driver’s Window won’t roll & Right mirror fault
Hello guys, this is 1993 XJ40(XJ6) owner from Taiwan.
My XJ40 driver’s window wont roll,
and sometimes when I open door to 45 angle it can roll, but it will fault again later.
I open my door card and reorganize window switch box but still doesn’t work, and my Right side mirror suddenly doesn’t work too, anyone can help me!

If your window will work when the door is open, it seems like you should look at the area of wiring that flexes when the door opens. You may have a broken wire (or two with the mirror) at the body -to- door area. Good luck.

Check for corrosion or a loose plug at the switches and at the plugs to the motors too. The mirror has separate wires for up- down and left- right. When removing the trim panels the wood slides forward off of clips and there is a screw hidden behind the air tube at the top front, besides all of the normal places....
