I do have a strange power seat problem . Most times that "red diamond" area doesn't work however all other seat buttons work perfectly .So, I press the button and nothing happens . I checked all the seat fuses seemed ok .Anyone else had a similar issue ?

I have different buttons to these in both the 92 and 93/94, which of your cars are we looking at?

I guess that that button is for raising and lowering the front part of the seat (not sure), I seem to remeber that when I have the back of the seat cushion all the way down then I can't lower the front part.

Will check when I finish this set of strings....

 

Mine is '93 ('93-94 same and '88-92 buttons are same too) Yes, what I marked is lowering the front part of the seat .
I guess you have 3 buttons side by side for seats excluding heat button

 

I can't see the pic yet (too new of member), but schematic shows the switch for front elevation direct to motor. 12V is sourced to the whole switch assembly, so if other switches are working, it's getting power. That leads me to believe flaky switch contacts, loose wire connections, or worn or dirty motor brushes/armature.
