Default Failing AC diagnostics and repair advise need

Hi There,
I want to thank this forum, i have changed fuel pump and alternator making my car a nice (and working) car again thank to the advices from here...
so i'm going for more:

my AC is not cooling just hot air comes. i did put AC Gas but nothing happens, i have checked that the compressor starts when i start the AC, so relay and cables are fine.
I have an XJ6 1993 4.0L, and im willing to change many parts in order to have the AC working (i got spoiled as the two repairs i did before -with the forums help- went really well ))), here im going for more !, this is what i will do, (i accept suggestions for sure !)

1) im going to change the AC compressor and the Drier, then i will check the AC
2) im going to replace the Heater Valve, then i will check the AC
3) im going to replace the A/C Expansion Valve, then i will check the AC

Please advice or add up remove order for what im going to do.

Thanks in advance.
Martin

I'am having a similar problem with your issue . I am fed up with filling up R134 . I think you may also be leaking somewhere in your A/C system .A guy adviced me that I should also replace or repair A/C's radiator .(the one located at the front of the car )

The first thing to do is to put gauges on the system and see what the readings are. This will pretty much tell you where the problem is in the system. Leaks can be a real nightmare. Not an impossible task, but finding them can be rough. Until you know the pressure readings, you don't know where to start.
