Fans and Coolant Level Linked Together ? - FIXED
After I got my car back ,I noticed this little issue .
Yesterday morning, I turn the ign key to II and my fans started to kick on and the engine was cold normally .
I started the engine and fans kept running .I also noticed that coolant level light as you will see in the image lighted on .
I stopped the engine and checked out the coolant level ,it was ok as you can see in the image .
Today, I followed the very same pattern and propellers (I like them to call like that lol ) started to run along with the coolant level light .
I topped it up even though I knew it would not need extra coolant but that light constantly is on the gauge screen
I assume constant running fans have to do with the coolant level light but don't know for sure .

Hi Caddie, in the second pic, the engine is not running? Yes?
Try it with the aircon switched to Man and the heat control switched to give heat with fan speed around 2.
I'm fairly sure it is hot where you are and I just wonder if your aircon is trying to cool the interior of the car down too much. This will cause your 'Props' to kick in.
Cheers,
Richard

Hi Translator,
Yep, in the 2nd picture the engine is not running , the key is in II
The fans keep turning on whether you switch on AIR CON or off .
What amazes me neither engine nor Air Con is on but both fans are turning on instant;y if you insert the key .
In addition ,if you wait prolly 30 secs or so , the fans are stopping even with the key is in II position .
Once the fans are on (key II ) and if you cycle the key to 0 the fans are stopping too . Those fans should be linked to ignition from what I say on a regular driver's view
I asked my Jag Specialists they said that's not a big deal coolant level sensor might be loose or so .
