So I am doing some electrical work on the ole vdp and the fog lamps are all broken and not in working order. I have seen several xj40 ' s that have done some mods to their car to update it.

In any case I was considering switching the fogs to led bars or something similar but I wasn't sure if it would work to just wire them with the current wires and be able to use the stock switch or not. I would think as long as the amps weren't more than stock it should be plug and play but these cars are electrically odd.

 

Use same wiring, plug and play.
