Again, I have a XJ40 manual to give away to the first person who needs them to reply to this thread. Just take care of postage, please.
Repeating the back story, (if it’s of any interest), I have a 74 E type and 95 XJS that were my grandfathers from new, and I lost all the literature, records , window stickers, etc, for these two cars during a move. I have now been successful in obtaining replacement literature, but unfortunately all the original leather/vinyl portfolio wallets available for my cars , are in a terribly deplorable state, so I am not going 100 percent original on that, and instead am using the most aesthetically pleasing and durable portfolio/wallets for Jaguars, which are the green marbled ones that came in the XJ40’s, with a big embossed growler. These are surprising cheap on eBay and have been delivered twice now with XJ40 books that I do not need.
Incidentally, my grandfather did buy a new BRG XJ40 when I was about 4, but sadly replaced it with a X308 many years later. Whenever I buy a place with a much bigger garage, I intend to get the best example British Green XJ40 possible as they are my favorite jaguar sedans along with the X350 and the Mark 2.
Anyway, these particular manuals are in excellent shape:

Hi
I'm interested to your Automotive Repair Manual. Unfortunately I am at home in Vienna Austria. I would also pay the transport costs. Maybe we find a solution.
Thank you
Peter
