Front turn signal
My 1990 XJ6 has a burnt out front turn signal. I removed the lens and with much difficulty got the old bulb out. There is very little room for my fingers to turn the bulb. Now I can't get the new bulb to turn so it will seat properly. What is the trick to this?

i dont remember myself, Is it an 1157 bulb? If so then the lugs are not at the same depth. youll need to make sure you have the shallow lug in the shallow slot. Simple things first..... Good luck.
I've done that. The problem is there is not enough room inside the bulb mount for my fingers to get a good grip on the bulb so as to turn it. Any suggestions? I have ordered a bulb wrench which hopefully will help.
