Getting Low Power Fluid Light

Getting Low Power Fluid Light
I have a '89 XJ40 Vanden Plas. On the dash I get a intermittent Low Power Fluid warning.
First of all my car has been converted to conventional shocks in the rear so no more hydraulic suspension.
I added mineral oil to the green power fluid reservoir but it took very little so it's full.
What do I need to check? I figure there is a sensor at or on the bottom of the reservoir but because of the original hydraulic suspension is there another sensor in the system somewhere? Or is this something I will just have to live with.
Thanks
Mike
