Since my 86 Volvo had factory heated seats I was surprised to discover that while it was option my 94 XJ6 did not. Now while the Volvo could roast a hotdog from the vents I find the Jag to be a little lacking in the heat department. Only having one blower doesn't help but that's a job for Spring.

Anyway I was adding a new Stereo (I wanted a hard line aux in vs using the tape deck) I found a in the right "A" pillar fuse box it had a fuse for the heated seats.

Are these things fully wired for seats and maybe just lacking the switch? or would the heater grids be missing as well.

Any info would be great and I will post what I find when I go looking.

My X300 had no heated seats either . I asked my service about retrofitting , they said they had to reupholster the seats . So, they did , they wired and I don't think your seats aren't pre wired as CD changer does .
My XJ40 came with that option as standard
I had my rear seats fitted heating as well.
