Just now joining but thanks for lot's of helpful posts - just bought my new car - 93 xj 6 VDP 87k 1700. Used the post on starting this in the 1st place - this car had been a garage queen, as in not being driven for over 2 years. Post about "the driver's side fusebox. fuse A5, that is a three amp fuse," Got the car started. They didn't reset the system when replacing the battery so a few things were wonky like the central locking feature, were corrected by this. Car sounds like every bushing on it will need replacing. As for going down the highway, I'll post that here. I am excited to be here.
