Welcome to the forum!
I think if you will simply pronounce the model of your car correctly, Vanden Plas ("VAN-den-Plah"), it will sound much cooler.
(sorry, couldn't resist.)
Have you looked at the performance exhaust systems from AJ6 Engineering?:
HIGH QUALITY EXHAUST SYSTEMS from AJ6 ENGINEERING / AJ6 Engineering
Cheers,

I'm with KC7 on this, I love the fact that my Daimler's quiet, it's a luxury car so you expect smooth and quiet then you have the growl of the 4L when you put the foot down.
Each to there own but remember your are cutting and adding to a stainless steel exhaust system that would normally not need attention for the life of the car.

Generally, if you remove the front mufflers....that is, the ones roughly under the back seat area.... you'll get a moderate increase in sound.....a slightly deeper overall sound. Whether that's cool or not is up to your tastes.
It's hard to make a straight six sound cool, IMHO. Jaguar and some others managed to get a cool sound on some of their sportier models (like the E-type) but I'm sure it was no accident. It probably took a lot of work and experimenting to get the sound 'just right'.
Cheers
