Help! How do I keep my hubcaps on?

I have a '91 XJ6 Sovereign with the chrome plated hubcaps that snap on. It seems like every 6 months or so one of them pops off. At $60 / replacement this is getting kind of annoying. Has anyone figured a way to attach them so they don't fall off? I don't want to glue them on or I'll have to break them to change tires. Thanks!

The best way yet expensive is to get a Daimler / VDP 15" wheels that one looks like a roulette
I have X300s wheels on my ride and that's also my paramount concern losing one of those
