Default quick question how to take hubcap off?

getting 4 new white walled tires tomorrow morning but was just thinking i need to remove the chrome hubcaps to take the wheel off,

best way to take them off without damaging them or scratching the chrome? im not sure how they are attached also the outter chrome lip thing should i remove that also to avoid it getting damage when tires getting put on or not?

tire shop i dont trust them to do it so want to get it done before i go in there

if they are full hubcaps, you take them off very carefully. There are 5 springs, one over each lugnut. The center cap is bolted to the outer beauty ring, it does not come off by itself, so don't try. I think you grab the openings in the beauty rings with both hands and pull gently until they release.
