Am trying to source a water pump for my Jag (1989 XJ6 XJ40 Sovereign).

Have been calling around, not many mechanics are familiair with that particular model..

Any recommendations for people to call within Sydney or New South Wales Australia area?

There are three specalist Jag Part Dealers of good repute but they are located in Melbourne. They will post parts to you although you will have to get in quick to have them before Christmas.

Ebay is a very good source of parts. Also try Ebay UK for those hard to find parts shipping is pretty fast these days. I use a very good Jaguar mechanic in Moorebank, his name is Alvin and knows these cars only too well. You can call him on 96011009.
