help with radio 94 xj6
i installed a kenwood headunit in my xj6. it worked for a little but then battery dies while doing installation. when we jumped it the head unit woul dnot turn on. i used a fuse checker to see what was wrong and it shows the ignition wire is okay but the batter wire is not working. where can i find the fuse for the radio. i dont have the owners manual for that car.
also i cheacked the fuses on the driver and passengers floorboard and the center consle. they were all good.
any other suggestions?

i found the problem. the head unit sucked too much power when i turned the ignition. the ignition relay fuse blew. i replaced the fuse 5 times. i had to upgrade it form a 3amp to a 10 amp fuse. thats only because my door speakers are running off the headunit. once i get them on a separate amp it will be fine
CP that 3 amp wire isn't going to play well with a 10 amp fuse. It might be better to forgo the the Kenwood until you can get it wired to its own power source. Better to listen to the engine and the wind than smell the burning insulation.
