Question Horn, windows work, not the display

I parked my 94 XJ12 for a few months came back to a dead battery ok so I'll jump it. The battery was charging up for about 10min from my other jag went to turn the key to see if it'd fire up. The display panel was dead no warning lights, no odom. not showing how much petrol was in the tank nothing nor would it even attempt to click or turn over. The alarm would turn on and off, windows worked, radio worked lights worked but even another 10min of charging would get the display panel up even let alone try to get it to start. Any ideas?

Thank you, replaced the battery, checked the fuses still no power to display, the hazards work blinkers on their own don't, wiper won't respond to the lever nor can you shift it from park into neutral with brake applied. You hear the ABS pump run when the brake is pressed though it won't release the shifter. I don't hear the fuel pump priming either, no click or attempt to start when the key is turned nor do any warning lights come on or even the fuel gage work. Also checked the ground wire to frame it's in perfect shape. Any suggestions where to look next?

I checked all the connection points and had good power at the jump
hub up front as well as the battery cables in the back. I got it
fixed! Instead of just checking the relays, the ECU and major
fuses I tested each and every fuse 1 at a time. On the left hand
side fuse panel it was a 3amp fuse for "memory" that was not fully
burned all the way out. Changing out that 1 little fuse I saw that
I now had a milage display again. I put the key in all the display
came alive and it cranked over like she was show room new. Thank
you so much for your help and advice!!!!
