Idle Setting

I can't seem to find written down anywhere the idle speed for my 1990 XJ6. Can anyone tell me what it should be?

I am interested in this too. I read a couple places (can't recall when or where) that it should be at about 800. Thats where I have mine set and thats about what it was when I got the car, seems to work well.
