Hi all. I have a 1992 LHD Jaguar XJ6/XJ40. Suddenly the speedometer, oil pressure gauges, fuel level & all the other gauges have stopped working. Does anyone know if it is a fuse issue or more than that. If a fuse which one?. Thanks so much. J A B

It was a 3amp fuse that had blown. The fuse box in the centre of the car beside the ashtray and cassette box. The fuse also covered the VCM as well so it did not warn me that it was a fuse. The car was in Spain when the problem arose and a 3 amp fuses was very difficult to find. The lowest are 7.5. Anyway, got one from a garage eventually.

 

Good that you found it. For info, both left and right fuse panel covers have space for spare fuses, might be worth stocking up.
