Can somebody tell me what is supposed to be in this location on the XJ6. This is an XJ6 1989 model. There is supposed to be something here because I have 2 plugs but I do not have a sensor. Just got the car a few weeks ago and I suspect it is causing a hesitation issue not having this sensor in place. Been looking for the same car in a junk yard but there are not many Jags in the salvage yards where I live. Heading back out there today. If somebody can identify the part I'll just order one and be done with it.

 

Oh and Yes I know there are some parts missing I was cleaning and testing when I took the picture. Thanks in advance.

That's a connector for the Air Injection Pump Clutch, which your 1989 model did not have. 1988's had it, 1989's didn't.
