I have a xj40 which is suffering from many issues such as signal lights not working . Fog lights are out all together, nor are the license plate lights. Is it possible to get rid of the all four lamp control modules in all 4 corners and replace it with a simple circuit board with relays. The lamp out warning I can manage but I need working lights. And this way we can install led lights as well which would be a lot easy on the battery. Can some one advice whether this is possible. Thank you

 

The answer is yes. Ignore the warning lamp. I do it all over the car.
