Are the drain tubes clear and/or correctly attached?

Cheers

My right front drain clogged and caused a water leak into the car which ruined my headliner, then dripped down and ruined the wood pannel of my center consol & destroyed my passenger front seat bottom. On my 89, the front drains are vinly / rubber tubing that run down the side windshield pillers and dump out on the bottom rear portion of the front fender wells. If they are clogged, you can try to carefully rheem the drain tubes out from the top or you can take off the front fender wells and clean out the drain tubes from the bottom (or both).

Just make sure you clean out the duck bill drain in the engine bay on the firewall... about half way along in line with the cam cover. This clogs up and causes water to back up below the windshield in the firewall cavity which is the usual cause of water in the foot wells.. A lot of people usually suspect the sunroof but this is not normally the culprit.
