Do you perhaps know anyone who practices VooDoo? I've myself have found it very handy when owning a Jag...

Hope you stay around... You'll find it very informative and gosh...fun.

I would put my money on the sending unit. Sell lots of those, sell very, very few gauges.

Hey david, welcome to the forum.
See you've got your problem sorted.......great.
If you're looking for parts Kens usually a good bet........and If you have a " handy Jagman" who is he and where is he?....lol
Might also be able to help a few others here depending on where he's based

My fuel gauge also has a problem... whenever I fill up the ol cat, the gauge reads full, but shortly thereafter it drops to empty and I need to refill the tank. LOL,

Hey XJ40ish how much fuel does your tank hold.

My gas is wierd, idk if this is like a electrical problem, but my computer tell me I have 0 range left, when the fuel gauge shows that I have liek 1/8 of a tank left. And often I can only put in liek 17.5 gallons of gas, so maybe I have more fuel that my CPU doesnt know about. When I bought the car I thought it had liek a 22 gallon tank, but it appears to only be liek 18.
