no heat
I know that makes too much sense Jam1White LOL! From my experience with several cars and trucks, when the t-stat fails, it stays open to allow passing of coolant instead of staying closed to avoid overheating.

I think it's also very likely that the blend flaps are not moving. Before I started with anything else, I'd take the passenger knee bolster off and rap on the blower housing with a wrench or something to see if that made any difference. It worked for me once, and it's free.

Put your hands on the hoses going into the firewall, both hot? If they are then it is as described as above. If the input is hot, output cold....heater core, may be just clogged. If the input isn't hot, thermostat.
If you have to empty any antifreeze be sure to bleed that system properly when putting it back together.

Things to check: Antifreeze - make sure system is bled completely so no air pockets as was stated before.
thermostat - take the old thermostat and put in boiling water and see if it opens when heated up.
heater hoses and radiator hoses - hot or cold?
Heater valve - hoses going to valve hot or cold - does valve actuate?
Heater control and blend door motors could be a cause but only if you find the hoses are warm. If the hoses are all cold then your problem is water flow and not interior electronics or vacuum.
Been fighting this myself and first step was thermostat which did help engine heat up correctly. Still need to replace an door motor though as I get heat below but no above.
Hope this helps.
