No radiators available for 1993 - 1994 XJ40 cars?
I have a late MY94 XJ40 and the radiator has developed a hole in one of the tubes. In looking around it seems that there are no ready suppliers for a replacement radiator for these cars.
Has anyone sourced a rad for one of these cars lately? I also have a couple 1995 - 1997 X300 cars and I was not successful at finding a replacement radiator for one of these either.
I even tried searching various online suppliers in the UK but had no hits there either.
Any recommended suppliers would be most welcome.

Can you see where the hole is located and is it accessible? If so, it can be repaired.
Drain the rad and brighten/scour/clean the area. Go to a refrigeration supply place and ask for a product called "LA-CO Heatstik". This is a heat activated epoxy used to repair high pressure refrigeration gas lines.
Heat up the area to be repaired with a propane torch, (don't go too crazy with the heat -you dont want to melt the rad) then push the LA-CO stick on to the hot metal. It will melt and flow on to and into the problem area, sealing the hole.
When it has cured, (60 seconds) rough up the epoxy surface slightly then coat the repaired area with high-heat JB weld. I repaired my AC condenser like this about 10 years ago and it's still holding.
Test the melting temperature of the LA-CO on a piece of scrap to get a feel for using it before going at the rad. LA-CO is quite brittle so coating it with JB weld insulates it from vibration damage.

SNGBarratts lists them as special order, and at eye watering prices. I have ordered "special order" parts from them, and while there was a bit of a delay, I got them in decent time. If its just one or 2 tubes, check around radiator shops to have it soldered?
