Default Replacement radiator for XJR6?

I need to source a replacement radiator for my 1996 XJR6. It seems that Jaguar don't produce any such parts so, I wondered, does anyone know about a third party who manufactures a copy of the original?

I actually have one I pulled from the salvage yard. But it might be prohibitively expensive to ship to GB.

The only difference between the XJR radiator and the other X300 radiators is the connections for the transmission oil cooler pipes. On the XJR, the radiator couplings are female whereas the others are male. Potential solution number one is to source an "ordinary" radiator, which is relatively easy to do, and fit a converter coupling to attach the transmission oil cooler pipes.
Potential solution number two is to have your existing radiator recored. My local radiator repairer did this for £195, replacing the aluminium core with brass, and using my existing plastic end tanks. Took them a day, and I am very happy with the results.
If your XJR is a manual, any X300 radiator will work.

Many thanks for your thoughts - I've only just read this...! Could you PM me details of who did the recoring? Sounds like a rather sensible way forward.

Andy, for what it's worth I had a new aluminium radiator made for my 3.2 last year after a plastic pipe on the original radiator broke
It has been a saga- first of all the left off the connectors for the auto gearbox oil cooler, so it went back. Then it started to leak and was repaired. Now it has anothe slow leak. They tried to blame the car for having a stray current and causing electrolysis of the aluminium but I had it tested and that isn't the problem

It was a little local place here in Edinburgh. They put a brass core in, which I think is much easier for them to work with.
If it is feasible for you to send a radiator here, let me know, and I can dig out the details.

Radiator recoring is a relatively common service if you didn't want to deal with an Edinburgh outfit by post.
No idea what these people are like but it's local (Odiham):
