Default not staying running

i have a 91 xj6 sov it starts fine and idles fine but after it warms up completely it begins to spit and sputter and if you give it gas it just dies then you left off the gas it comes back to idle then begins to spit and sputter again till it dies any ideas. It has a new fuelpump,fuel filter new plugs and it doesnt give me any codes to read at all.

Try a temp sensor for the fuel injection. It's an inexpensive guess and common failure.

It's in the thermostat housing. Has two blades in the connector.

Idle control valve maybe? I would start with the sensor. I am not up on the older vehicles. Spend all my time in the newest ones back....so never make it back further than 97 really.
There are some knowledgable folks here with regards to the older cars.....good luck.

ok new post here i did some test on it which envole checking the maf and the ecs. the maf checks out with 2 volts for a simulated load but only has 2 volts for the ref volt to ecu. the ecs is checking aroun 416 ohms at normal running engine temp. so my question is do both of them need replaced or are they within working tolerence. because the ref voltage is suppose to be 5 and ohms is suppose to be from 200 to 350 ohms. And i was off on my descripsion of what is the problem. idles fine give it gas fast nothing just stalls. give it gas slowly and it reves up fine.
