Default OTPubs & Jaguar literature

Good evening to all.
I recently bought the USB Original Technical Publications manuals for XJ40 models (JTP1008USB). Unfortunately I can't open any file due to an error (maybe a bug???). The secure reader programme (locklizard) says I don't have the authorization to open them. Sadly the publisher seems to be not able to fix the error as I tried with at least 3 different computer each one with different characteristics as for suggestions received through remote assistance of the publisher.
Finally I got an online licence to run the programme via internet...but I can open just half of the documents (by a twist of fate I can't open some of the files specifically referred to my car model). So I have a USB stick good only to store music, images and documents and an incomplete online resource: all for more or less 140 USD.
Has anyone had a similar experience with OTPubs? (not only for XJ40 or for Jaguar cars but also with other cars)

Can anyone suggest me a working source for the complete XJ40 original literature please?
Thanks

What publications are you needing?

Gus has MANY documents on his site. (jagrepair.com)

I worked at the dealer a few decades ago and collected both paper and electronic documents.
Gus has most of the electronic .pdf info I have.

I have a CD, bought years ago, used it quite a bit back then, haven't referred to it much since. Not familiar with OTpubs BTW

Downloadable PDF manuals for XJ40 are available from various sellers on eBay, I bought one recently for less than A$20. It is complete, and for the price perfectly useable. Just be careful to order the correct year series for your car.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have a 1991 Daimler 4.0L, so I was looking to related parts and service catalogue and technical service bulletins. I saw some of the latter on jagrepair.com

Yes Larry, it's the same problem. Finally I returned the USB stick hoping for a reimbursement.
