Hello all,

I need to replace my battery for my 1994 xj40 4.0. I installed a 40w x 4 channel alpine amplifier. Everything else is stock. Does anyone know the specs I need or have any suggestions?

Jaguar recommends H6 battery.

I think it is also called a group 48 but do a cross reference search.

I replaced mine with an Interstate MTP-48H6. Interstate recommends a MT7-AGM for high accessory use. Though I imagine you wouldn't need it. The stock system should handle that amp without issue.
