Replacing Fuel Injector
Looking at the fuel injectors makes my head to think of removing one. Any instructions out there on replacing one?
One of them it's leaking, hopefully it's just an O ring. I know the steps to depressurize the fuel system, just not quite sure how to tackle the fuel rail injector.

There are I believe 4 small 8mm headed bolts on the injector rail that must be removed to seperate the rail from the intake manifold. Disconnect the fuel inlet and return lines. The entire rail comes out, but lift or pry carefully to break loose the orings. The injector is held in by a clip that looks like a square capital C. Just slide that out, and then carefully remove the injector from the rail. They aren't too hard to do. Reinstalling the rail can be tricky as the tips of the injectors must be lined up perfectly in their hole in the intake manifold. Lube all new orings with vaseline. Hope this helps a bit. It's been a long time since doing injectors on the AJ6 engine. We don't get many of these at the dealer anymore. Don't forget to replace all the orings on the injector tips, even if they aren't leaking.
