I changed my brakes today and I had lucus brakes on my car and there where no pads left on it. Are these the factory brakes,if so thats very scary someone hadnt changed the brakes in 21 years. I put Ebc redstuff on it stops so much better now.

 

I don't think that's even a possibility. Unless the car has less then 30,000 miles.

 

The car only has 124,000 miles and there where no pad left just steel on the rotors. So i dont know if its factory but I know lucus has not made pads for a very very long time. It stops so so much better not scary to drive anymore. I have about got the drive train worked out. I will post a pic soon just been to busy to take one,It needs all new tires and rear brakes and new blowers for the a/c. After that it will be very sound and I can go to paint and taken dents out and then new wood and it will be finshed.
