Default Set the TPS with PDU, which menu?

Hi,
I have Xj 40 1990. European version. I want to set up TPS with PDU.
Does any knowledgeable person at PDU know which menu to choose?
I have tried myself but unfortunately have not been successful

There are over a dozen discs for the cars up to about MY2000. I always looked at the chart on the dealer wall for the disc to use on a specific car.
I looked at the menu on the disc for the application.
I don't even remember what disc(s) to use for XJ40.

Hi Mikael,

It is not too difficult to set up the TPS with a voltmeter by back-probing its electrical connector. I know that for the '93-'94 cars the voltage at idle should be set as close as possible to 0.6 volts (600 millivolts). The correct voltage for the 1990 cars may be different so you may need to do some research. I believe the spec should be in the Workshop Manual, which may still be available on DVD from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.

Cheers,

Don

That is the way I did it even when I was at the dealer! It was too annoying to load the PDU and drag it over to the car with all the wires. It got really bad when the battery in the PDU was failing. You had to REALLY HURRY to get to the car and attach the battery connectors to the car before the PDU CRASHED.

Thank you for your answers. I have the correct software. I also know that it is possible to set Tps with a multimeter. What I am interested in is how I do this in PDU. There is a movie on Youtube where a setting is made on an XJS. Unfortunately, it is not the same interface for XJ40 in Pdu.
