Default Which side is right rear?

Hi Everyone,

I have to change the door handle on the passenger side (U.S.) for my 93 XJ40. Is this the right rear?

Well that depends on which side is the passenger side, as there are right hand, and left hand drive Jaguars. That being said the constant here is that the right, and left sides are determined by, the person sitting in the car facing forward, thus the right side is the passenger side in the USA. In the UK. it would be the "Drivers" side. Hope that helps. Since you're in Jersey I'm assuming you have a left hand drive Jaguar, and the "Passenger" side would be the right side of the vehicle.

Thanks so much; that's what I figured. The rear seatbelt became stuck in the door and a passenger broke the outside door handle trying to pull the door open. I just ordered a three right rear handles on Ebay. All three were sold together, so I'll have two spares!
