The intermittent feature of my windshield wiper switch is not working properly. I saw two sellers on ebay had the switch but their listing indicated they were not compatible with my '91. One switch was from a '92 and the other from a '93. I can't believe this. I thought I could use a wiper control module/switch from any xj40 between '88-'94. Am I wrong?

1988/89 cars are pretty much the same.
1990-1992 pretty much the same.
1993/94 pretty much the same.
Some parts fit ALL XJ40 and some are MY specific.
