Dear Jaguar friends:
After three years of ownership and the most sublime driving I have ever enjoyed, this morning I said goodbye to my XJ40. I can't believe I'm even writing that, but it was the right decision for my family right now. This was the nicest car I will probably ever own; and given their crazy low values, the new owner is getting a heck of a lot of automobile for the money. As I was setting a price, I did a lot of comparison shopping - and to be sure, there is a lot of junk out there, across the car brands. Mine, however, was not. And a well preserved (as my car was by its previous owner) Jaguar owned by an enthusiast, is a thing of beauty. This forum helped me keep my Jaguar in prime condition - something I could really be proud of and enjoy. Thank you all for the fellowship and support. Perhaps, a few years down the road, our paths will cross again. British cars are in my blood.

Cheers!
Scott

Hey Scott, things change and time marches on......I see its time for a change of vehicle for you and the Jags going............hopefully to a good home!

Feel free to recommend the forum to the next owner.....we'll be glad to welcome him onboard.

Whatever you decide to replace it with I hope you get many smiles of happy motoring. Just because your JagLESS doesn't mean you're not welcome here and we hope to see you around from time to time........

Best wishes.........
