take a look at this pic and tell me if my car is at proper temps..

As it starts to get cooler here, I notice my heat isnt really warm. I was curious if my car is running at proper operating temperature.

You probably have an 88ºC thermostat so the coolant should stay at least that hot...and it looks like it is.....assuming the gauge is accurate

Thermostats for the AJ6/AJ16 engines tend to stick OPEN. The V8 engine t-mostats tend to stick CLOSED.

You can use one of those non-contact infrared 'point and shoot' type thermometers aimed at the t-mostat housing to verify the actual temp!!
