Default Torque specifications on cylinder head bolts

Hi!
I need help. Im currently doing a head job on my 1997 jaguar xj6 that has a 4.0 engine. I bought new cylinder head bolts but i dont know whats the torque specifications for that. Please help thank you

Markos:

You'll need to post in the X300 (which is what a '97 XJ6 is called) to be sure. Haynes says for the XJ40 (through '94) 44 foot pounds of torque is required, plus an additional 1/4 (90 degree) turn. Could very well be different for the X300.

You do need to post in the correct forum for proper info.
JTIS recommends 59-61 Nm PLUS 90 degrees rotation (1/4 turn) for the AJ16 engine.

Scott's recommendation is correct for BOTH the AJ6 and AJ16.
