Exclamation touch-up paint

Hi - my Jag has a couple of scratches (keyed) and I just found out from the local dealer that the touch-up paint (code SDE - Oyster Metallic) has been discontinued by Jaguar Canada. Lovely

Anyone have an idea where I can buy a bottle of factory touch up paint?

TIA

Perhaps try Nalleyjaguar?

Below is a link to Jaguar parts & services that you may find useful
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/g...ervices-11249/

If all else fails perhaps one of the US members may be willing to see if the paert is available in the States and help you out?

Good luck

Default Sherwin-Williams

Hello, I usually go to Sherwin-Williams paint stores. Not sure if there's one located near you but there should be an equivalent.

I haven't needed one yet for my Jaguar but the last one I had them make for me was for my 1992 Buick Riviera which cost about $25+x for the average aerosol spray type.

Couldn't you just take your car to a certified/ professional body repair shop, have them match your paint color, and then give you a can of it?

Cool multiple choice

Ok, I bought some from Oregon quoting the code. It wasn't factory and unfortunately it wasn't a very good match ..so I went to a local automotive dealer who showed me on the computer that there were four formulation variants for the paint code SDE, oyster metallic

So the paint is available Base, Dark blown, Dark, and I think he said 'Vibrant'

He suggested I try 'base' first, tried it and it's too dark and too gray.

This is turning into a right PITA.
