Default Twin Turbo

Hello i saw a 1988 xj40 on ebay it had a twin turbo on it on the stock motor. It was the "chaseur" edition,, i do t really remember how to spell that.

But where and how much would this convertion cost and i could get it done??

Never heard of it; I have no idea; and I wouldn't... in strict order. But, that's just one guy's opinion!

It was done by Arden "biturbo", my mechanic has one Vehicles and tuning of british automobiles since 1972 Arden AJ 5

You could buy a "Chasseur" as they do appear for sale from time to time but the conversion option is long gone.

What is different about the "chasseur" i know the VDP and the Sovereign. Why is the conversion option gone? Is it street legal and would you get significant performance increases?

I can find several pics of 'Chasseur Stealth' conversions and ads for used ones (sold) but technical information is scarce.

Here's the original sales brochure:









It details the spec which may add something to your present knowledge of the conversion.
