Default wiper blade

I've read posts about wiper blades stopping at random places or not working at all but when I turn on my wiper, there are times when it will not stop. Even when I turn off the car...

I apologize if I've missed a thread where this has already been covered but I would appreciate any insight on this problem.

Thanks

This happens to me sometimes. I have to bump the wiper switch down a few extra times or it will keep going. Eg wait one wipe, hit it again, wait to see if its stopped, hit it again twice. I'm certain there's a combination I don't know. If it's not stopping after fiddling like that then it could be grime in your switch or connections which is keeping it tempermental

Even when you turn off the car. Key in pocket, walking away, wiper still going? Something definitely wrong there. I you are able, try testing the various terminals on the motors' plug to see if the problem is in the motor or the switch. To me, if a switch is bad I can usually feel it. Its just not right somehow. Good luck.
