Wanted xj40 O/S headlamp rubber backing

bit that encloses the bulb and bulb holder

mine is missing and bulb hangs limp

hope its okay to post a wanted ad here, i looked at the classifieds, and didnt spot any wanteds.

 

I had a quick look and it seems your part number is JLM1326

Several suppliers list them for roughly 10 bucks, have a google with that part number and you'll be golden.

ps - From you listed location I can't tell whether you are in Durham UK or Durham in the States - often this will make a difference as to what parts you'll need as the US spec and UK spec differ - however, in this case, the part number is the same ..also, might be a good idea to list/update your model year and vin in your sig as that helps too when making suggestions for parts!

used the part number and ordered one from David Manners (Jaguar, Daimler, MG, Mini, Triumph, MX5, Morris Minor, Car Parts from David Manners Group of Companies in the UK)

now the dark nights are creeping in I will need working headlights.
