Default X300 Calipers

Hello .
Just wondering If rear X300 Calipers would fit onto an early XJ40 rear Hub Carrier.
Hub carrier part no CPC1535/4
Cheers

Ill put up some observations. I am looking at rock auto at pics of the 2 parts. They are different castings, but the set up looks the same, that is, I think the mount bolts are in the same relative places. The reliefs for the rotors seem to be about the same depth. The difference I see easily is that on the later calipers the fluid line threads straight into the back of the piston well. On the earlier (i looked at 1990) the fluid line threads in at an angle towards the center of the hub. I also see in the "more info" area that the piston bores are different, the earlier ones being smaller. probably not a good idea to swap.
