Default Rear hub carrier X300 vs X308

Unexpected 90 degree curve - slipped off the road -- ouchie - I crunched my right rear hub carrier last night and I am beginning a search to replace.

I see the X308 hub carrier looks identical, but the actual part numbers are different.

MNA3290AA for the X300 vs MJA3290AA for the X308

The "bearing" part for both is the same - JLM21053

Does anyone know if the X308 hub carrier will work on a X300?

Thank you

The size/location/orientation of the wheel speed sensor is likely the determining factor.

I think that will be the difference. You might be able to drill/tap a new mount hole?????

Ok, I see that now -- pictures of the 308 model show a bolt hole at either side (facing forward and facing aft) and the x300 brakes service diagram shows one hole facing inboard.

X308 98-03

X300 95-97 (Although I think there is a serial number in 97 year that crossed over?)

There is a production number on the X300 series that they changed the sensor itself part number but the hole is in the top on the 95 salvage car like mine 96 # 755xxx .

Is that a drum brake I'm seeing ?

Yeah man - for parking brake -- the drum part is the inside of the disc rotor LOL.

I will need to make sure the "shoes" are at the same wear level to maintain smooth park brake operation.

I'm not considering that one pictured but I hope I don't have to get new shoes because then I would need to replace the shoes on the other side to keep them even.
