Default xj40 Japan

Hi guys, just got myself a 1989 4ltr Sov built for the Japanese market. Seems in good nick. Drove it back from Cambridge to Palmerston North which is about a 5 hour drive, it never missed a beat. Tyres not so good as it has after market alloys on which foul the front wheel arch trim on hard turns. they are 225/55 r16 so will look at changing them next Saturday.
All good so far!

Congrats on your new Jag, Greg.

Do you know what details were specific to the Japan market?

Hope you can post some photos for us to enjoy!

Cheers,

Don

That's cool, the government is austrlia wont let us import xj40's from japan, even when they've let the car industries go
