Default 1971 Series I for Sale in Tx

In my search for a rescue cat I found this listing for a LUMPed Series I. Would all come down to lack of rust in the worst places! Looks interesting though.

Run away, that looks scary. I bought a better looking parts car for $100.
Even in our part of the world that is a lot of coin for not much car.
I bought mine for $2000 and had it registered and Roadworthied in two days. It was four years ago, but prices have not moved that much, I could still get a similar car for under 5k and drive it.

Oh my goodness! I read the post earlier but didn't click open the link to the ad. So when I had more time I went back and opened it. Some things you just can't un-see. If it had some good parts on it maybe $100. Unfortunately there are people out there with a wildly out of touch value on their car. For $2k you should be able to drive it home safely. Maybe the seller confused it with a Ferrari. Come back in 6 months and it will still be there for sale. He might have returned to earth by then.

No.
Parts car. $400 tops. My nephew has two Series III parts cars that are (were) in better shape than that. And they're junk. I'm picking over them for what few parts are useable.
I do like the valve covers. Old style, doesn't fit my LT1.
More interested in the 57 Chevy behind it. They have that listed as a parts car; no price.

Yes, she's a mess. I really like the look of the Series I, both inside and out. Alas, none for sale yet on the east coast that meet my needs.
Currently looking at a 1985 Series III locally. It's Regent Grey Metallic with Mulberry interior.
