Default 1991 Lowering Springs xj6

Hey guys, new to the forum and I'm happy to have a 91 xj6 van den plas with 96000 miles. I'm looking to fix it and mod it up a bit. I've always loved the classic stanced look. I've been looking around and can't seem to find any lowering springs for it. I was thinking bout cutting the springs (no heat) in the front for about and inch drop or half and inch. Any suggestions pros cons of doing this. Thanks guys.

* plus I know lowering it would mean for a bumpier ride , don't mind much*

Any tips
Or
Comments greatly appreciated

If you have a 1991 XJ6, I think you want to post this in the "XJ40" forum... unless you have a Canadian or other non-US car. If your car has rectangular headlights (as opposed to round) then your car is known as an XJ40.

Otherwise, welcome to the board! Lot of good info here!
