My 75 XJ6L is engaging the starter at the run position. I could get it to drop out by turning the key back and forth after start. I thought it was the switch so I pulled it and it checked good. Now I think it is in the power cut off/ interlock wiring that some one has messed with. I cannot find a wiring diagram for the cut off relay. Does anyone have one? Thanks

 

Todd, do you mean the inertia switch? Have you checked the starter relay as well, i can send you an extract of both........Tom ( i have the same model).........jagschemes@live.com.au

 

Thanks for the reply. The inertia switch is fine. The ignition switch is good. Some one messed with the wiring between the starter relay and the fuel cut off relay and I have no drawings of it. I would like to et a copy. I will email you.
