Good Day Sirs,

I was driving down the highway a few days ago and the transmission started hemorrhaging oil. long story short needed new torque converter and bushing and seals. now there is another crack in the center area of the tranny, and thats leaking so i was wondering what could have gone wrong when this all snapped?

 

Can you give a bit more detail on this, please ? Is it the transmission sump pan that's cracked or the transmission case. The pan could have got a whallop of an object in the road sometime. I have never heard of a tranny case cracking.

 

the case itself has like a hairline crack about 1 inch in length
