Accelerator Cable Series 2
Any know of an easy or approximate substitute for a series 2 foot pedal to throttle accelerator cable?
Finding one is proving hard and trying to figure if I can get a 'near enough' in another more common card at a wreckers.
Obviously I need to get the length close and the ends similar enough.
any suggestions?
two hex nuts at necks and a U bracket of sorts with a hold for a pin....

Doug's idea sounds good.
I've used bicycle cables like the one linked below. The last lump I did had a large bore throttle body with a heavy spring and it worked very smoothly.

Lockar (?) is a maker of various shifter components, including cables.
1. David Boger of everydayxj may have a good used one or even NOS.
2. Johnscars in Fort Worth, Texas stocks a lot of Jaguar parts.
3. Me thinks the S3 cable can be adapted. When, I did my lump, I used the existing cable. Too long, so I cut it to size. I made an adapter to the GM throttle capstan. A small bolt and nut and a
brass locking device for wire.
4. Motorcycles use a variety of sheathed cables....
5. Is the problem with yours, a bad housing or a busted end?
