Default Aircon compressor removal

Hi all

I'm wanting to remove the aircon for better access to the spark plugs... Is this doable? Do I need to bleed/drain anything? Anything to watch out for?

Many thanks.

Not remove, just shift aside a bit.

There are four bolts holding the compressor. Two front, two rear. The fronts are often buried under caked-on gunk. The rears require that the cruise control servo be partially removed: unbolted a shifted aside

With the four bolts removed just tilt the rear of the compressor upward a few inches to give access to the front plugs. I use s small block of wood as a prop to hold it in place

Cheers
DD
